The RF Express™ for QAD Enterprise Applications load truck transaction performs several functions contained within shipper maintenance. The user can simply scan the container to attach its contents to the shipper. The user can also create a shipper “on the fly” (The user can create a shipper header from the RF terminal-there is no need to open full screen QAD Enterprise Applications.) The load truck provides the capability to update the containers selected by simply scanning the container id to attach the items to a shipper id.

The RF Express™ for QAD Enterprise Applications has many transactions designed in conjunction with our many automotive customers. These include the ability to create production KanBan cards to enable an advanced repetitive backflush and for these items to be containerised and labelled with a single scan. The completed containers can be shipped using the load truck transaction which creates the shipper by simple scans of labels rather than using the normally complex shipper maintenance screens. Selections can be made by ship-to to determine if new shipping labels incorporating detailed EDI data are reprinted. The containers can be automatically “pegged” to the incoming requirements schedule if required. The label designs can be customer specific and Eagle have experience with working virtually every automotive format, including Odette, Galia, VDA, VDA KLT, ETI 9, and Honda Quick receive labels. Extra verification to electronically error proof the shipping processes can be incorporated, and additional final checks to ensure all the goods are loaded to the truck from the dock are standard.
