New Functionality Updates

As part of our continued investment into the Eagle product, please find some software updates below.

Automatic FIFO Backflushing:

The Eagle RF Backflush transactions contain numerous powerful features and options that make complex scenarios simple.   For example, the RF Backflush transactions can be configured to automatically consume component inventory using FIFO logic based upon the order in which the components were transferred to the work center.  This logic supports automatic FIFO issuing of lot controlled inventory, serial controlled inventory, and inventory with reference number/license plates.  This unique Eagle feature completely eliminates the many prompts that would be necessary to manually issue components for a modified backflush.

Traceability from component inventory and/or sub-assemblies to the parent item is real-time and streamlined.  The parent item can also become serialized, containerized, or palletized in one transaction for easy movement and shipping.

Eagle enhances labor Functionality:

Eagle’s popular labor On-Off (LOF) transaction has been enhanced to allow a user to perform a labor Off (Job end) transaction on multiple WO and/or multiple Operations with one transaction.  With the new feature, the operator closes a specific Work Order ID / Operation.  LOF automatically determines if the same employee has a labor On (Job start) transaction still pending.  The operator then receives a prompt asking if the operator wants to end any other pending transactions.  The net result is more robust reporting with less prompting.

Eagle customers benefit from Eagle and QAD Item Attributes functionality:

Eagle’s RF Express product has included integrated Item Attribute functionality since 2014.  That flexibility is critical to streamlining collection of Attribute data.  Today Eagle customers can enjoy the benefit of Eagle’s expanded Item Attributes functionality.  RF Express provides highly flexible prompting. Attribute functionality extensions include configuration options to trigger mandatory response Lot prompting where Lot Attributes are applicable – even if the Item is not Lot Controlled.  Additionally, alternate Attribute specific label formats can be automatically printed if Attributes are applicable within the transaction.
